Getting Started

How quickly can I get started with DirectIQ?
Most businesses are up and running within a day. Import your contacts, choose a template, and send your first campaign — no technical experience required. We also offer a free onboarding call to get you set up faster.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. DirectIQ offers a pay-as-you-go option with no monthly commitment and no credit card required to start. You only pay for the email credits you use, and they never expire.
Can I import my existing contacts?
Yes. You can import contacts from a CSV file, connect your POS system for automatic syncing, or use our API. We support all major contact list formats.

Features & Integrations

Does DirectIQ integrate with my POS system?
Yes. DirectIQ connects directly to leading point-of-sale systems so customer data flows in automatically. No manual CSV exports needed — your segments stay up to date without any ongoing effort.
What kinds of automations are available?
DirectIQ includes pre-built flows for birthday campaigns, win-back sequences, post-visit follow-ups, and welcome series. You can also build custom automations using triggers like purchase events, date fields, or inactivity.
Can I A/B test my email campaigns?
Yes. You can test subject lines, sender names, content, and send times. DirectIQ automatically sends the winning variant to the remainder of your list once the test period ends.
Does DirectIQ support sign-up forms?
Yes. You can create embeddable sign-up forms to collect subscribers from your website, social profiles, or in-venue tablets. Forms sync directly to your contact lists and can trigger automated welcome sequences.
Can I send transactional emails with DirectIQ?
Yes. DirectIQ supports transactional emails like order confirmations, booking receipts, and password resets — with 99.9% deliverability and optional future-send scheduling.

Pricing & Billing

What's the difference between the subscription and pay-as-you-go plans?
Subscription plans (Growth at $49/mo, Scale at $129/mo) include a set monthly email allowance and are best for businesses with consistent sending volume. Pay-as-you-go lets you buy credit packs — starting at $19 for 2,000 emails — with no monthly fee and no expiration on credits.
What happens if I go over my monthly email limit on a subscription plan?
Overages are charged at a per-email rate — $0.0015 per email on Growth and $0.001 per email on Scale. You'll never be cut off mid-campaign.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. There are no long-term contracts. You can cancel your subscription at any time and won't be charged for the following month.

Deliverability & Support

What open rates can I expect?
DirectIQ customers in the entertainment and activity space average 44% open rates — more than double the 21% industry average for generic email tools. Better segmentation and industry-specific timing are the main drivers.
How does DirectIQ ensure good email deliverability?
We maintain strong sender reputation through dedicated IP warming (Scale plan), domain authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), bounce management, and proactive list hygiene tools. Scale plan customers also get a dedicated account manager to monitor deliverability.
What kind of support do you offer?
All plans include email support with an average 4-minute reply time. Growth and Scale plans include priority support. Scale plan customers get a dedicated account manager. Every new customer also gets a free onboarding call.
